March 2008
Welcome New Members:
Ken Quilici, Joanne Dixon, Heber Loughmiller, Teresa and Scott Tverdy, Tom Snow, Louise Koontz, and Debbie Crawford, John Reeder/Reeder Flying Service
We received a generous donation from Ken Quilici of $10,000. These funds are dedicated to the Event Center Project. A Big Fair Foundation Thank You to Mr. Quilici.
The construction projects are coming along well on the Fairgrounds as we are about done upgrading the wiring in the RV Park. We are also almost done with the new irrigation system. The Building Permit has been approved for the new 34’ X 70’Rabbit Barn with 150 pens and materials have been ordered. We are in the permit process for the new 40’ X 60’ Restroom Building. This will be older style architecture with 50 new and modern facilities. This structure will replace the old restroom building across from the Merchants Buildings. We will start accepting bids on that, in March. It is gearing up to be a busy summer.
