FAIR TIME INFORMATION
How do I sign my child up for the Mutton Bustin?
The Mutton Busting Qualifier is now a part of the Junior Rodeo on Wednesday, August 27. It is for kids between the ages of 4 - 8 years old that are no larger than 60 pounds. Entries will be accepted around July 15 each year, please check website for exact dates . The top 30 contestants from the Junior Rodeo will be selected to compete in the Mutton Busting during the Magic Valley Stampede (10 per performance).
Do children 5 & under need an event ticket?
Children 5 & under do not need a ticket for General Admission seating. If you purchase Reserved seating, they may sit in your lap or you must purchase them a ticket. Reserved seating tickets are the same price for everyone.
How can I perform at the Community Stage?
Q: Who can perform on the Community Stage?
Anyone in the Magic Valley with a talent to share! We welcome individuals, groups, schools, and organizations of all ages and experience levels.
Q: What kinds of performances are accepted?
The Community Stage is open to a wide variety of acts, including (but not limited to):
Singers or vocal groups
Bands or instrumental performances
Dancers and dance studios
Cheer, drill, and gymnastics teams
Cultural or folk groups
Comedy and improv acts
Theater or skits
Choirs or church groups
Fitness or Zumba demonstrations
Martial arts or sports exhibitions
Poetry readings or storytelling
School and youth organization performances
Q: When are the performance dates?
The Community Stage runs Wednesday, September 2 through Monday, September 7, 2026, during the Twin Falls County Fair. Performances are scheduled throughout each day in one-hour time slots.
Q: How long are the performance slots?
Each time slot is approximately one hour, which can be used for one act or shared between multiple short performances.
Q: Is there a fee to perform?
No — performing on the Community Stage is free!
Q: Will performers be advertised?
Yes! All scheduled performers will be listed in the Fair Day Programs and on the Fair website.

Q: What do I need to bring?
Performers are responsible for bringing their own instruments, props, or any special equipment needed for their act. Basic stage setup and sound support will be provided.
